DISCLOSURES

We engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and healthcare organisations (HCOs) to help us develop treatments to support better care for patients.

Our interactions with HCPs and HCOs include participation in early scientific research and clinical trial programmes as well as providing advice and support to deliver medical education to ensure appropriate use of medicines.

We think it’s important the public feels confident that our relationships with HCPs and HCOs are open and transparent so we disclose the details of payments and other benefits on the ABPI database, Disclosure UK. Disclosure UK is part of a Europe-wide initiative​ to increase transparency between pharmaceutical companies and the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other health professionals and organisations they work with.

BioCryst is proud to support the ongoing work of a number of patient organisations helping to improve the lives of people with rare diseases. As well as supporting activities such as increased disease awareness and best clinical practice, our work with patient organisations also provides us with a better understanding of the specific needs of patients and what we can do to help.
